
20 August 2018 – Ahead of the September 4 state budget, South Australian Premier Steven Marshall has said his government’s first budget will meet all its pre-election commitments with infrastructure spending to be a major focus.
While no new details or projects were announced, speaking last week Mr Marshall said the establishment of Infrastructure SA remains a priority with the new entity to take carriage of reviewing and evaluating developments.
According to Mr Marshall, the upcoming budget features a strong program of infrastructure projects. “We want to give certainty to the market, we want to provide a 20-year productive infrastructure plan with five-year updates on that plan,” the premier said.
